Information

Vampires. Stories tell how they thrive in the night, stealing the lives of innocent people and secretly ruling the world with their supernatural powers. Stories also make it clear that vampires are seducers and are the walking dead. Years of story passing, fact and fiction seemed to blend until the vampires' image was morphed into the walking dead or even devils. It wasn't ever discovered how vampires began their existence along side the human race. This part was never recorded within books or stories. The Crimson Time.

' Weaknesses

1. Sunlight A vampire can survive in the sunlight for small periods of time. The older the vampire, the longer they can stand the sun without any terrible side effects. If caught out to long, skin will welt, burn, and in severe cases the burns will not heal, leaving scarring.
2. Dead Man's Blood This is said to be a false way to cripple a vampire when it really is very efficient. If the blood of a person over a day dead some how gets into a vampire, it will act as poison. If a stake, blade, or arrow is soaked in 'dead blood' it becomes the perfect stunning weapon against a vampire.
3. Stake Through Heart its pure myth that a stake to the heart kills a vampire. Stuns them is more like it. A well aimed stake to a vampire's heart will make a vampire completely paralyzed until the stake is removed. In this paralyzed state, a vampire is defenseless against any attacks.
4. Lack of Blood All vampires need blood to survive. Not drinking from an animal, or human, will weaken a vampire's senses and abilities. A healthy vampire drinks a good portion of blood every week. After four weeks without any blood, a vampire will have the same reactions like any human who was starving to death.

' Death By

1. Massive Sun Exposer A vampire is weakened by long periods of time in the sun. The sun can kill a vampire if they are caught out in it for an intense period of time. Burns, welts form all over the vampire's skin, slowly destroying the inactive blood in the vampire's veins. Once this far, its almost impossible for a vampire to recover. If they do, forever will their skin be scarred.
2. Fire Heat is a large enemy of vampires. Fire is the only element that has the ability to kill a vampire in seconds. If caught in a fire, a vampire will soon find themselves being turned to ash right before their own eyes. Its a quick death, but ulimately the most painful, with the exemption of Sun Exposer.
3. Decapitation Nothing can survive without a head. Vampires included. Most people cannot stomach the idea of removing something's head, but hunters have found this the best way to get the job down. Of course, its difficult to get close enough to a vampire to do the deed.
4. Starvation One of the rarest killers of vampires is starvation. It almost never happens for a vampire to be starved. Its instinct for them to find food when they begin to run low. When this does happen, its usually from a vampire being kept away from any source of food.

' Strengths

1. Speed Depending the the age of the vampire, the speed they can run varies. A newly turned vampire can move up to double a human's speed, giving them a look of 'blur'. The ancient vampires can move quick enough to seem like teleportation. This speed is rare as vampires aren't living to be that old in these times.
2. Eyesight From the moment of being turned, a vampire's eyes become sensitive to any light sources. In the dark, a vampire can see as if it were day to a human. of course, this too develops and heightens over time and years of existence.
3. Stength All vampires exhibit massive amounts of strength. Older, the more stronger as all the other abilities. Strength is the most heightened sense when a vampire become frenzied for blood. If wanted to, a vampire could snap a human in two with barely any effort.
4. Smell The sense of smell mostly pertains to blood and being able to locate even the tiniest drop of it. Older vampires can know the exact location of a bleeding human, while a younger vampire has to search for a few minutes. This sense can be dangerous for a bleed human as it usually triggers the frenzy in vampires.
5. Fast Healing Depending on how long a vampire's last feeding was, decides how fast they heal. If a vampire feeds every week, their healing is a few seconds if whatever made the wound isn't still embedded in the vampire. If a wound comes into contact with dead man's blood, it will take hours, maybe days for it to heal. Sun burns take a long time to heal.

' Best Blood Sources (best to worst)

1. Human
2. Bear
3. Panther
4. Elk
5. Deer
6. Horse
7. Vampire
8. Wolf
9. Fox
10. Bird
