Information

Vampires. Stories tell how they thrive in the night, stealing the lives of innocent people and secretly ruling the world with their supernatural powers. Stories also make it clear that vampires are seducers and are the walking dead. Years of story passing, fact and fiction seemed to blend until the vampires' image was morphed into the walking dead or even devils. It wasn't ever discovered how vampires began their existence along side the human race. This part was never recorded within books or stories. The Crimson Time.

Black Dahlia Academy

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fighting between the six kinds had destroyed the idea of a perfect civilization on earth. Six of the best and smartest of each race came together. Combing themselves together even if they didn't wish to, they formed the Black Dahlia Academy. To teach the generations what was needed to become a perfect civilization. The elders hand picked the six leaders of the groups, the ones that would lead that race in the future.

They have never gotten along, and they never will.
Vampires are more flighty.
Were wolves are more stronger.
Shifters are tricky.
Humans are greedy.
Mixed breeds stick out.
Slayers think down on everybody.

The school was the last hope, to get those to work together. Brining them together with the oldest companions on earth. The equines of the school come from all over the world, and so do their owners. The most hopeful riders and fighters where sent to the school. But there is a rising breed on the horizon, the mixed breeds. They are different, not many have been allowed to live. Now the world must go on, and so must the show of equines.

  • Clan leaders/school elders open.
  • We're still looking for staff. =)

ooc: Funny idea! They talk and she ends up staying out mostly all night, she goes home and promises to meet him again the next night. She doesn't show cause she gets sick! Nothing big but like a cold! so then it gets dramatic!

The words he chose to reply with caused a soft giggle to come from her. It was childish sounding but there was nothing she could have done to stop it from coming through her lips. Iria just let it out without resisting. What was she going to start with? There was so much about herself that it seemed almost impossible to be able to find a starting point. To make it easy, Iria decided to start from the beginning. Shining eyes studied Avi as he leaned in closer. For some reason, she didn't feel threatened at the few inches between them. A few inches that could mean life or death for herself.

Cloak was wrapped tight around her body as Iria began to speak about herself. Eyes shifted to look ahead, thinking back to her childhood. The pleasant memories brought a warm smile to her lips. "My first memories were of my mom. Every night she'd come and read to me before bedtime." Pausing, the image of the worn book that still sat in her room was clear in her mind. The gold trimmed letters down the spine and upon the cover were worn and faded. "She used to read me Robin Hood every time." A soft laugh was given. "When I was old enough to talk I would always insist that she read me it every night. Still my favorite book." This was a cherished memory of Iria's as not many children these days had books to read, or they couldn't read. The thought of being without a book terrified Iria, but she knew most lived everyday of their lives without the word filled pages.

Avi knew his word choice had been suspenseful and that was why he had purposely chosen to speak that way. He liked watching the emotions on her face, tracing the contours with his eyes. It might have been cruel to give her heart palpilations like that, but he wasnt as humanistic as a human might be, because he wasnt one of them. She finally spoke, and sounded relieved and joking. He was very close to her face still, and her warm breath wafted across his nose, her scent driving him almost mad. He wanted to think he was completly immune but he was definetly still stimulated by the smell of someone so delecatble as herself. Thats what Im counting on. He countered, leaning in closer.

He certainly wanted to get to know her and know exactly who she was. He had a general idea of her character, of the life she lead, but he wanted to know everything; her hobbies, her favorite colors and favorite theater pieces. Her favorite animals and her favorite day of the week, her favorite pieces of literature and why. Her favorite place, her favorite people. Everything- he wasnt kidding. In return he would answer any question she asked of him in the most honest way he could, to let her get to know his character a little bit.

ooc:she should tell him she likes the book robin hood and he'll start randing like, I just said my name was hood, gosh they had to come up with a first name blah blah xD

That gentle pressure that was present upon her lips from his chilled fingers was the only feeling Iria could feel upon her being. How could one simple, light touch leave her so challenged to move. The way his eyes didn't connect with her eyes and seemed to stay trained on his fingers, or her lips, was strange. Eyes were able to pick up on the tremble that traveled through the vampire's body. It was impossible for him to be cold? "Are you-" Words of concern were cut off as his lips were suddenly replacing his fingers with an even gentler touch.

A girl's first kiss is the one that sticks deep into her mind and is never forgotten. Iria would always have Avi in her memories from this moment. He would have made it in anyways as he was the first vampire she had come across. He just had an even more significant memory now then she had thought he would. Just as the caress began, it ended with Avi pulling away, leaving a breathless Iria. Light tickle against the back of her neck was soothing but a foreign at the same instant. A strange sensation.

The joking question that came from him brought a smile as eyes looked back into his own blue pair. What could she say to that question? With no answer, she watched him pull away and the first thought was she had done something wrong. Alright, yes she did do something wrong with kissing a vampire but still, she didn't hide the confusion in her eyes. The words he spoke made gaze shift down to the damp ground between them. She shouldn't have kissed him. It wasn't a smart idea. Iria felt like such an idiot now. Avi couldn't have spoken two more times at any more of the perfect moment. Dulling eyes lit up once more as he wanted her to tell him all about her."Everything? We might be here all night.."

Thinking about the night, Iria looked up at the slowly clearing sky to see the moon had moved in the sky, showing that she had been gone for a good two hours from the castle. Oh her father was going to have her head for this runaway she was sure of it.

Avi kept his fingers on her lips as she spoke the sorry, a gentle pressure across them. His eyes remained fixed on those lips, to touchable. He remembered the feel, quick, an instant of those luscious lips pressed against his face. He had to be ever so careful. When she apologized, and her mouth moved, Avi visibly trembled with the restraint it took to keep him from moving any closer to her. There was nothing that he could think off that would take his mind off of her. He couldnt seem to set aside those thoughts; they were persistent and continued to remain at the fore part of his mind. Of course, it was at that dangerous time that she moved her lips once again, and this time not a sound came out. But the movement was sufficient enough. Avi leaned in immediatly and replaced his fingers with his lips, touching hers softly. His mouth upon hers, he just put a gentle pressure, not going any farther, not trusting himself. She probably couldnt even feel the permenant stubble upon his cheek. He put his hand on the back of her neck and drew her closer for just a moment as he relished the moment, loved the moment, loved her.

Then, ever so gently, he disentangled himself and leaned about six inches away, staring straight into her eyes. A smile appeared on his face, the gap in his teeth showing and his blue eyes lighting up. What kind of a princess are you? He asked jokingly, the tips of his cold fingers drawing chilly circles on the back of her neck before he moved away again and relenquished all contact with her. He needed to get to know the woman before he went around kissing her. It just wouldnt do. The society he had been brought up in had always been anti-public displays of affection. It was good they were in a secluded place or he would have never had the courage to do such a thing. And it wasnt that he was averse to getting to know her-he wanted to know her, wanted to know everything about her. We cant do this. He whispered quietly, kindly. I cant kiss a girl I dont know. He paused a moment, and then spoke again. So tell me everything about you.

Sneaking glances over at Avi as he took in her actions she had just made on him. Crimson cheeks glowed in the darkness. Yes, she was now embarrassed by her actions. She was an innocent little princess, and here she had just kissed a vampire more or less. How her father could have her head right now. Even through her innocence, Iria never felt so alive in those last few seconds then ever before. Heart continued to pound loudly in her chest. Glances turned to a full stare as Avi ran his fingers over his lips, then brought brought those exact fingers to her own. The chilling feeling of his touch sent a shiver down her spine. He was so close to her now.

Eyes fell from him and to the ground. All he could say was 'Oh.' Good way of making a girl feel comfortable with herself. "I'm Sorry." if her cheeks could've gotten any redder, they would have. ".." lips moved to speak but no words came out. Talking with his fingers on her lips was a strange task but she had gotten one word throug
h them. The sorry was spoken in almost a whisper. Now what would happen.

Avi laughed at her statement. Born rebellious? Perhaps I was. He allotted, knowing that it was probably true. There was nothing in his past that had made him so reckless and wild-raised by villiage people-maybe it was just part of his general makeup. She repeated his offer quietly to herself, and seemed to think about it for a moment. She looked like she was arguing with herself, and her heart rate began to increase, the blood flowing quickly through her veins and tinting her cheeks the most beautiful rouge color. Avi was politely silent, sitting next to her, face turned in her direction. She almost looked like a child for a fleeting moment in time, that beautiful woman, and then, quicker than he would have believed possible for a human and yet incredibly slow to his perception, she darted in and kissed him on the corner of the mouth, jumping back as soon as she had done so.

Ever so slowly, he raised a hand to touch his own mouth, and he pressed his fingers there. When he took his hand away, he was smiling a gentle, soft smile. His eyes were alight with something akin to lust, perhaps something a little more. He was reliving a few moments ago, and his heart struggled to move as a boulder might struggle to leave its resting place. He kissed his fingers again and then leaned forward even more, face about a foot away from Iria's. His fingers pressed against her lips, traced the shape of them. Oh. He said simply as he exhaled an unnecessary breath. This was the most emotion he had ever had to deal with-and all of them were bombarding him at once. Perhaps she was just doing it to defy her father, because that was the only reason he could think of for her doing such a thing. She couldnt like him....He on the other hand was feeling an awful attraction to her. A wrong attraction. It would never work, and he was just hurting himself. But what was life if you didnt carpe diem?

The silence continued to surround Iria as she thought about everything she had said to Avi. She hadn't meant to go off like a rocket on all her personal problems. But when he spoke as though he had parents and was in the same position as her. She didn't know if vampires could have parents or not. Well, okay maybe he has human parents but then maybe not. Either way, she wasn't going to ask. It was a question that Iria couldn't help but feel as if it would seem like she was prying for information out of him.

Eyes looked over to see his mischievous grin. There was always something interesting going on within his head wasn't there. The words her spoke seemed to good. A soft laugh came from Iria, eyes sparkling. "Were you born rebellious?" How he came up with his words so quickly, it amused her greatly. "Well, what would I want to do if I wanted to defy my father.." This was a difficult thought.

Alright, so it wasn't that difficult because Iria knew exactly what would be defying her father but Iria was to shy to ever just up and do that. Besides, she'd probably scare Avi off. To add onto theses things, Iria would admit she was nervous about the thought. She'd be so close to his fangs and that was frightening. Maybe she wouldn't defy her father that horribly. Eyes traveled back over to Avi who was closer to her. How a tiny blush reached her cheeks made her feel so childish. She hadn't thought of kissing anyone before, especially a vampire. Her heart thumped loudly as she glanced back over at Avi and moved as fast as any human could. Leaning forward she kissed the corner of his lips in a quick peck then pulled away just a second later. Cheeks shining bright red.

It was as Avi had suspected; she had been cooped up too long in one place, forced by someone else's will instead of her own. He wondered why parents loved to do that-supress their children and try to make them do whatever the parents wanted. It was ridiculous. It only made the supressed child more ardent in their attempts to break free. He gave Iria a look of sympathy, kindness in his eyes. He wasnt always a callow, carefree vampire. He had a sensitive side to him when it was provoked-and her face with the starshine dappled across it, was provoking indeed. Scooting a little closer to her, yet keeping his distance because of his impulsive move before, he spoke gently. Parents never understand. They vow to themselves that they shall be different when they are young, and here we are, the children of such people, here to testify that the age old cycle continues. He sighed, somewhat wishing he had parents to speak of, to love, to be angry with. But even if he was still human he wouldnt have that, so it wasnt due to being a vampire.

Suddenly he got a mischevious smile on his face. What do you want to do? You can do anything you want. We can go anywhere. If you want to defy your father and live your own life, what about tonight? Its open for whatever you wish. Its not like I have social engagements. His excited face was open and honestly transparent. He would do anything for her-he wanted her to be able to have one night of complete freedom. He had always dreamt of that when he was human and her age. That was the reason he had asked the vampire he saw to change him. It had all worked out for the better but he still felt like his freedom was too empty. There was no one who cared whether he was free or not-he wasnt defying anyone. It would be more fun for her, he knew. What do you say? Anything you wish. His face was aglow.

Alenia

In a world of lush and bountiful lands, forests spreading across rolling hills and crystal clear rivers splashing down rocky banks, it is hard to imagine anything more beautiful. This charming land is home to humans who have forged alliances with the dragons and unicorns that share their world. With the end of those battles, all seemed peaceful and quiet. But unity has never been grasped within Alenia. Scattered cities and natural boundaries have long kept the various communities and cultures of Alenia separate. A darkness has been born in the north, and people are falling under its spell. With chaos griping the land, and destruction threatening the entire world, will you join in the fight for peace or fall sway to the call of power?

Welcome to the Land of Alenia, a magical world filled with danger, excitement, and intrigue. Alenia is composed of 4 distinct communities each with their own look, feel, accent, and overall goals.

Mirivena: Dark earth tones, metal and leather dominate their culture. They seek power and military discipline at any cost. Select members of this city find themselves blessed with a bond to their pride and joy, the dragons.

Lenala: Light, pastel tones, plants and soft woven fabrics dominate their culture. They desire peace and prosperity above all. It is the peaceful, and virtuous at heart from this fair city that are given the gift of a bond with the symbol of light, the unicorns.

Corsyalin: Medium hues with a tendency toward color, they are a balance between the gentleness of Lenala and stern power of Mirivena.

Aeirdonian Desert: Bland earthen hues, rough fabrics yet splashes of color and wealth make them distinctive. Traders by nature, they travel the harsh lands of their home to seek their fortune in the other cities.

Lines blend and boundaries fade as every person in the world must choose a side and fight for the future of all.
